Doctors and More Doctors

This has been a busy week with doctor's appointments. Brendan saw his neurologist and she is really happy with his progress. He does have to go in for a CT scan since his head has really not been growing and she wants see if the "plates" are fused together. This means that the helmet he has been wearing for head shaping for the past 6 months has not worked because his head has not grown, it only works as the child's head gets bigger and has a "molding" effect.
We will find out next week after the CT scan what, if anything needs to be done.

Today I had the pleasure (NOT) of taking the trio (along with our nanny, Candice for help) to the peditrician for their 15 month checkup. It was so nice to hear from the staff that the 15 month appointment is the hardest and the boys proved them right. Tristan and Aiden hated being on the table and then to top it off they got two shots, nothing like 3 screaming toddlers! Overall, they are all doing great. We did find Tristan has an ear infection and we have not seen a sign. He has been sleeping good and just basically himself, which is whinny to begin with. He is now on antibiotics.

Here are their weights:
Tristan - 24lbs 8oz (can you tell who likes to eat???)
Aiden - 18lbs 6oz
Brendan - 17lbs 8oz

Yes, you did read it right, Aiden AKA small fry weighs more than Brendan. I guess that the whipping cream that he drinks in his milk is helping. Believe it or not, he sees a nutritionist because of his small weight and she has told us to add the extra calories and fat!!
