Easter 2010 & Columbus Zoo

We were a bit nervous when the time came to break the news to Kaleigh that we were cancelling our trip to Omaha, so our alternate Easter plan involved one of the regions best, but often forgotten attractions, the Columbus Zoo. While many do not realize that the Columbus Zoo is one of the top 5 zoos in America (as is Henry Doorly) most would recognize it's director emeritus, Jack Hanna, who has routinely appeared on the Tonight Show since the Carson days (the TV is saying he's on Letterman's show tonight).

Below are some pictures from Saturday's excursion to Columbus as well as Sunday's Easter celebration at home (has anyone else noticed that Easter is becoming a second Christmas for the kids?).

Hangin' with the Big Blue Easter Bunny

Kaleigh, chillin' with the polar bears

We tried to sneak past the carousel, but...

Easter Morning...

Zhu Zhu Pets and a pink Razor scooter = a good Easter for Kaleigh

Tristan is now armed.... be afraid, be very afraid!

Round of golf anyone?
